Pinta has a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. She has extensive experience advocating for plaintiffs in complex medical negligence cases, including obstetrical negligence, surgical errors, delayed diagnoses, hospital negligence, and catastrophic brain injuries. Pinta represents clients in actions against physicians, nurses, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions. Uniquely positioned as former defence counsel for physicians in both civil and college proceedings, she brings a dual perspective that strengthens her ability to advocate for injured patients.

In addition to her medical malpractice work, Pinta has significant experience in wrongful dismissal and employment litigation. She represents both employers and employees in a range of employment disputes, including constructive dismissal claims, human rights complaints, executive compensation matters, and workplace harassment cases. Her commercial litigation background, honed during her years at Lenczner Slaght, includes complex contractual disputes, shareholder litigation, class actions, and professional discipline matters.

Pinta has also prosecuted on behalf of regulatory colleges, including the College of Massage Therapists and the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Her regulatory and administrative law experience complements her litigation practice and reflects her deep understanding of professional standards and accountability.

Pinta serves on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association. She also volunteers her time with the Black Legal Action Centre.
